How the sportsbook is organised
Open a sport, then an event, then a market name. Read the market title carefully before you stake — “match winner including overtime” and “regulation time only” are not the same bet. In-play markets appear only when the product offers them for that fixture; depth varies by sport and event. “Sportsbook” here simply means this sports betting product area.
Betting terminology worth knowing
- Market — the question you are betting on (for example match result or total goals)
- Selection — the outcome you pick inside that market
- Stake — the amount you risk on that selection
- Settlement — how the sportsbook decides the result under the market rules
- Single / accumulator — one selection versus several combined on one coupon
Always prefer the wording on the market itself over informal nicknames. Where amounts appear for this experience, they may be shown in euros (EUR).
Odds basics
Odds are prices for a selection, not a guarantee of what will happen. Decimal odds are common in many international interfaces: a price of 2.00 returns your stake plus an equal profit if the selection wins (before any tax or fee the product may apply). Fractional or American formats may also appear depending on account settings — the number on the selection is what settles.
Shorter prices imply a more likely outcome in the market’s pricing; longer prices imply a less likely one. Neither is a tip, and odds change constantly, so we don’t list live prices.
